Shipping Policy

Thanks for supporting Uniform Display. Here's everything you need to know about how we ship your order.

Processing time

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days of being placed. Orders placed on weekends or UK public holidays will be processed the next business day. During product launches and restocks, processing may take up to 5 business days — we appreciate your patience.

You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order leaves us.

UK shipping

We ship across the United Kingdom via Royal Mail Tracked.

  • Standard Tracked (2–4 business days)

Europe

We ship to most European countries via tracked service.

  • Standard Tracked (5–10 business days)

Important for EU customers: Following Brexit, orders shipped from the UK to the EU may be subject to import VAT, customs duties, and handling fees on arrival. These charges are set by your local customs authority and are the responsibility of the recipient. Uniform Display has no control over these fees and cannot predict their amount. Refusing a parcel due to customs fees does not entitle you to a full refund — original shipping costs and any return fees will be deducted.

Rest of world

We ship to select international destinations via tracked service.

  • International Tracked (7–14 business days)

International customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged on arrival.

Delivery times

Delivery estimates are provided by our carriers and are not guaranteed. Delays can occur due to customs, weather, carrier backlogs, or incorrect address details. We're unable to refund shipping costs for delayed orders unless the parcel is confirmed lost.

Lost or delayed parcels

If your tracking hasn't updated in 10 business days (UK) or 21 business days (international), please email us at hello@uniformdisplay.co.uk and we'll investigate with the carrier. We'll either resend your order or issue a full refund once the parcel is officially declared lost.

Incorrect addresses

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We're unable to amend addresses once an order has been dispatched. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we'll contact you to arrange redelivery — additional shipping fees will apply.

Damaged or missing items

If your order arrives damaged or something is missing, please email hello@uniformdisplay.co.uk within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. We'll make it right.

A few notes on what to tweak:

  • Email address: swap in whatever you're actually monitoring tomorrow. Don't use one you won't check.
  • Prices and free shipping threshold: match exactly what you set in Settings → Shipping. Mismatches between policy and checkout cause chargebacks.
  • International section: if you're UK-only for the launch, just delete the Europe and Rest of World blocks entirely — simpler is better, and you can add them later.
  • Processing time: I've put 1–3 days, but if you're shipping everything yourself this week be honest about it. Underpromising and overdelivering on a first drop builds trust; the opposite kills repeat purchase.
  • Lost parcel windows: Royal Mail officially considers UK parcels lost after 10 working days, international after 20–25
